| Tri-City Weekly, publisher of the "Your Guide to Adventure" travel series, is a multi-media publishing company based in Eureka, CA. Established in 1971, the Tri-City Weekly is a weekly shopper published in two editions every Tuesday - one for Northern Humboldt County (33,500 copies) and one for Southern Humboldt (13,000 copies). They have won numerous awards over the years, including for three consecutive years the Independent Free Papers of America (IFPA) General Excellence Award. In addition to the weekly shopper, Tri-City Weekly publishes The Coupon Book (monthly), Home Magazine (monthly), The Restaurant Guide (bi-annual), and Healthy Living (bi-annual).
The "Your Guide to Adventure" travel guide series began in 2004 and circulates throughout Northern California and Oregon. The purpose of our guides is to give the traveler a user-friendly, pocket-sized tool to guide them through the overwhelming amount of options when traveling from the Sacramento area to the Oregon Coast. Regions covered include Marin, Mendocino, the California Delta, the Wine Country, Reno/Tahoe, Shasta/Cascade, Southern Oregon, Oregon Coast, Central Oregon, and Del Norte County. This year we are introducing two brand new guides to our series, one covering the Sacramento area and the other covering the Historic Gold Country region. Our guides consist of in-depth editorial written with the traveler in mind as well as hundreds of local attractions, places to stay, and restaurants. We also feature an updated calendar of events for each region. The "Your Guide to Adventure" travel series is published both in print and online, ensuring that visitors have easy access to the information they need for the ideal traveling experience. |
